Lunch at Pecan Lodge

Stopped by the express line a little after 11 am today and grabbed some food to take south for a friend.  There was only a short wait.  I also came away with a couple of extra pounds of moist brisket and some of their excellent jalapeno sausage.  Everything was outstanding, as always.  The brisket had perfectly rendered fat and great smoke flavor.  The coarse ground beef sausage had a great jalapeno bite with a hint of garlic.  I can also testify the beef ribs were as good as beef ribs can get.   Pecan Lodge is still "Takin' Care of Business."
