With my Mrs out of town and a 3 day monsoon from a tropical storm on the way up from the Gulf of Mexico, I decided I needed to stock up on supplies. A quick trip down to Pecan Lodge for 2 whole briskets seemed to be just the ticket. I got there about 11:15 and found a meter just around the corner on Commerce Street for 25 cents. I was in and out of the express line in just 10 minutes. The amazing thing is there was NO LINE at Pecan Lodge! There were a few sprinkles outside and I guess that's all it takes. Something I shall remember for the future. Wake me up from my meat coma when the storm passes...
