We had a buddy in town from San Angelo and we had turned him on to Green's during his last visit. He wanted to go back for more, even though we were headed over to Smoked Dallas that same day. We got there about 30 minutes before opening and there was already one customer waiting. Mr Green came out later and shared some Pittsburgh hot links with the folks waiting for him to open. By the time they opened, a little before 11 am, there were 8 folks in line.
Our buddy got some brisket biscuits, pork belly bites, and ribs. I grabbed some brisket, sausage, pork belly bites, and brisket biscuits for later. I was still fasting before Smoked Dallas. I did do a brisket test and, unlike my first several visits, the slices held together, just barely, when you picked them up by the end.
